When not using the Battery Grip, the included Quick Release Plate can be used to connect the camera cage to the included 15m LWS Baseplate Type VI. When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip.Ī 15mm rod mount can be installed to support 15mm rods in front of the camera body when using the Battery Grip in a Half Cage setup.
The Bottom Plate provides several ¼”-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate. This offers more flexibility in situations where lighter builds are required such as when using a gimbal. The right side arm module can be removed to turn this Full Cage into a Half Cage. It also features ARRI compatible rosettes, which are specifically designed for our Adjustable Top Handle Plus for more flexible operating and handling. The Full Cage offers several 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles, as well as Rod Attachment Ports for our Single Rod Holders.
